Arden Myrin is a talented member of the Mad TV cast who has a very difficult name to pronounce.  Last week, at the FOX Fall TV press junket, we were given the opportunity to interview Arden and, really, who’s going to turn that down.  Arden had been acting in film and on television for years prior to being hiured as a featured player on Mad TV.  Now a fan favorite on the FOX’s long running sketch comedy series, Arden is entering her third season on Mad TV.  Arden has a great stable of celebrity impressions, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katherin Heigl, and Tara Reid.

Below you will find the full mp3 audio of the interview.

If you take the time to listen to the above mp3 of the interview, you’ll hear that I totally botched the pronunciation of Arden’s last name.  I will stick to my guns and say that I was totally misinformed about how to say Myrin (pronounced “marine”) and it’s not really my fault.  However, I probably should have done a little more research.  Arden was an incredibly nice lady, and I had a lot of fun talking to her.

Some of the highlights include Arden talking about how Mad TV would be going to a new format this year and that they were waiting till later in the Fall to start filming in an effort to stay more current.  Contrary to my personal belief, she does not hate Saturday Night Live, nor do any of her fellow cast mates.  Arden actually tried out for Saturday Night Live and it was between her and Amy Poehler and Amy got the role.  She also admitted that out of all the guest stars they’ve had during her time on the show, the professional wrestlers tend to be the most behaved.
