Teen sensation
Miley Cyrus just keeps getting more and more famous, as she recently became the recipient of three nominations for this year's Kids' Choice Awards. The
Hannah Montana star was one of those pegged for favorite TV actress and favorite female singer, as well as being nominated as the favorite voice in an animated movie due to her work on
Bolt.
Last year, she won two trophies from the Kids' Choice Awards. These were for favorite female singer and favorite TV actress. It seems as though she's not ready to give up her titles just yet. Cyrus' show
Hannah Montana has also been nominated for favorite TV show, much to her fans' delight. It's going up against Nickelodeon's
iCarly and
Zoey 101, as well as Disney Channel's
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Other than Miley, competing for the spot of favorite TV actress are
Miranda Cosgrove for
iCarly,
America Ferrera for
Ugly Betty, and Disney star
Selena Gomez for
Wizards of Waverly Place. As for favorite female singer, Miley is joining the ranks of Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Rihanna as nominees.
It's a tough break on the favorite voice in an animated movie category. Miley's voice on the
Bolt character Penny isn't that much competition for the other veteran nominees. These include Jack Black as Po in
Kung Fu Panda, Jim Carrey as Horton in
Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!, and Ben Stiller as Alex in
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. But then again, it's the Kids' Choice Awards. With legions of fans behind Miley Cyrus, she might have a fighting chance.
The Nickelodeon 22nd Annual Kids' Choice Awards will be launched on the said network on the 28th of March. It's all set to air live from the Pauley Pavillion at the University of California, Los Angeles. Click
