A good, ol’ boy is coming to Glee. According to TVLine, Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider is coming to Glee as the formerly out-of-work father of Chord Overstreet’s Sam Evans. Overstreet returns in December.
Schneider is also known for playing Clark Kent’s dad on the CW’s Smallville. He previously worked with Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy as a porn king on his FX drama Nip/Tuck.
Sam left town at the end of last season because his father lost his job in Lima and got a new one. The return presumably means papa got a brand new job, allowing Sam to return.
Glee airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
