Everything is changing on Fringe these days.

Thanks to last week’s timeline/universe revelations, we know that relationships are due for a change. But more than relationships are changing in this week’s “Nothing as It Seems.” We can expect mutation-style changes as well! We’ve got three videos that give you a look at all of the changes in “Nothing as It Seems.”

WARNING: These videos have a few Fringe spoilers in them. If the thought of such spoilers scares you more than David Robert Jones-induced monsters, you probably shouldn’t read any further.

The first video is a Fringe promo for “Nothing as It Seems.”

  • Remember back in the day when a guy on a plane turned into a monster and killed everyone? I’m pretty sure that’s what Peter is referring to here.
  • If you pause the video in just the right spot, the mutant totally looks like Harry from Harry and the Hendersons.
  • This time, there may be a whole lot more of those mutations in existence. I guess that’s what happens when you let David Robert Jones run rampant for an extra three years.
  • In the shrink clip, Olivia briefly sounds like the William Bell-version of herself.

The second video gives us a longer look at that same scene between Olivia and her apparently FBI-mandated therapist.

What exactly is a therapist supposed to do with the information that a patient is losing her memories due to spillover from an alternate timeline? Are there pills for that?

But the important question is this: Who has the harder job? Olivia’s therapist or the two therapists on Awake (both trying to treat a man who believes he lives in two worlds)?

In the final video, we get a look at Peter as he begins to come to terms with the fact that he is home — or at least as “home” as he’s going to get at this point.

There’s something incredibly sweet and incredibly Walter-ish about the man saving birthday presents for Peter over all these years. Although you wonder what kinds of presents he managed to find when incarcerated in the loony bin…

Anyway, the undrinkable beer for Peter’s 21st is a nice touch.

“Nothing as It Seems” airs on Friday, March 30 at 9pm on FOX.
