Disney Night has become one of the most popular themes on Dancing with the Stars. Starting with season 18, the couples have performed routines inspired by Disney films for every Spring season.

DWTS Spoilers: What Are the Season 24 Disney Dances?>>>

After three years of Disney Night, the theme has produced many memorable routines, including my personal favorite of all-time. I’ve looked back on the previous Disney Nights to select the best routines, which happen to include all three of pro Val Chmerkovskiy’s Disney dances.

#5 Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy: Beauty and the Beast Foxtrot

Set the “Belle,” the opening number of the animated film, Ginger perfectly captured the spirit and attitude of the Disney heroine. The production was elaborate and while it took the pair a while to get into the dance, once they did it was gorgeous.

#4 Danica McKellar and Val Chmerkovskiy: Beauty and the Beast Quickstep

Obviously the combination of Val and Beauty and the Beast works well, and these two invited viewers to “Be Our Guest” with a fun, upbeat, sumptuous Quickstep.

#3 James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd: Frozen Contemporary

In three years of Disney Night, this is the only routine to receive a perfect score. The routine was as powerful as the song, “Let It Go,” and featured tremendous movement and some amazing lifts.

#2 Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy: The Little Mermaid Samba

Nearly every single Disney Night performance features the star playing the hero or heroine, but Rumer wanted to go in a very different direction, playing Ursula. She was purple and fabulous, creating something completely different from everyone else.

#1 Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: Pirates of the Caribbean Paso Doble

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: This is my favorite DWTS routine, not just from Disney Night but from any performance in all of the seasons. Riker was able to transform himself into Captain Jack Sparrow, but still captured the masculinity intensity required for the Paso. It’s was hard-hitting, fast and insane, in the best possible way.

Do you agree with this list or were there any great Disney Night dances I left out? To help refresh your memory, here are my recaps from the previous shows:
