Handsome with a pleasing personality, he transforms skeptics into solid fans. Ultimately, he became part of the series Close to Home, which gives quench to his thriving career.

Born on September 21, 1960 in Canada, David James Elliott studied at Ryerson Polytechnic University where he participated in the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. His involvement in the said festival garnered him the Jean Chalmers Award for most promising actor. Despite his promising talent, he landed minor projects after graduation, which included the show Street Legal. Slowly, he penetrated the limelight with a starring role on Jag, and appearances Melrose Place, Seinfeld,  and  The Untouchables.

Playing James Conlon on the series Close to Home gives Elliott the opportunity to be part of a hit legal drama, which can positively expose his forceful acting. His addition to the series gives the show a new twist and enhances the plot with much intrigue.
