Castle season 5 continues on Monday, February 11 with an episode called “Reality Star Struck.” As the title suggests, the team is going to looking for a murderer around a reality TV show. Talk about looking for a needle in a hay stack.

First up, here is the official synopsis of the episode from ABC:

Castle & Beckett get an up-close-and-personal view of a Real Housewives-esque reality TV series, “The Wives of Wall Street,” when they investigate the murder of the show’s rising young stars. Meanwhile, Castle’s attempt to give Beckett a Valentine’s Day gift goes horribly wrong. Gina Torres (Suits, Firefly), Gail O’Grady (Drop Dead Diva), Lachlan Buchanan (Pretty Little Liars) and Heather Ann Davis (The Lake) guest star.

From that we already know that this episode will feature another mini Firefly reunion when Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres appear on screen together again, which will make many Browncoats very happy.

In the first preview video, we find Castle and Beckett getting an update on the case from Esposito. They discover that their victim was on a reality show and it looks like Castle is not necessarily what you’d call a fan.

Here are a few more things we learned from watching the preview:

  • Castle watched The Wives of Wall Street just long enough to make him want to kill himself.
  • Somebody on the show appears to have taken the term “backstabbing” literally.
  • Their killer has exquisite taste in cutlery, as does Castle apparently.

In the second preview video, we find Beckett questioning a suspect named Penelope Foster (played by Torres). This wife of Wall Street has plenty of attitude, but is she our killer?

Here are a few more things we learned from watching the preview:

  • Penelope is not stupid enough to kill someone with all of America watching.
  • Penelope and their victim had a little “dust up” the night before the murder.
  • Beckett finds Penelope’s story more than a little hard to believe.

What do you think now that you’ve seen clips from this episode of Castle? Are you excited to see Gina Torres and Nathan Fillion on screen together again? Do you think Torres’ character could be their killer?

Castle airs on Monday nights at 10pm on ABC.
