From Sex and the City
creator Darren Star comes a dramedy series called Cashmere Mafia
about four female executives and their support for one another as they go through life’s challenges. Officially picked up as a midseason replacement for its 2007-2008 lineup, ABC has ordered 13 episodes, which will take the Tuesday niche at 9/8C.
Directed by Peyton Reed (The Break-Up) and written by Kevin Wade (Maid in Manhattan), Cashmere Mafia
attempts to showcase the complex personal lives of the four thirty something women in their own created “boys club.”
