The most watched summer series on the major broadcast networks will continue for a bit longer. According to Deadline, America’s Got Talent is coming back for Season 11. The announcement didn’t arrive in the typical fashion. NBC did not make any official announcement or press release but merely mentioned that they will be holding auditions for Season 11 shortly in 12 cities across the country.

Auditions for Season 11 of America’s Got Talent will run from November of this year to February of 2016. Producer of America’ Got Talent, Sam Donnelly, made a statement about the upcoming auditions. Donnelly said, “Following the landmark tenth anniversary season, we’re looking forward to discovering the next decade of exceptionally talented acts, beginning with season 11…” Clearly Donnelly has ambitious plans for the future of America’s biggest talent show.

It’s unclear though if the talent will be the only new faces. Howard Stern already announced that Season 10 would be his last and he is leaving the show as judge after four years. There is no word whether fellow judges Howie Mandel, Mel B and Heidi Klum will follow suit or stay onboard. Nick Cannon’s future as host is similarly mysterious but I think it is safe to assume all four will be back next summer.

But what do you think, will Nick and the other judges be back? Are you excited that America’s Got Talent might stretch on for yet another decade? Or are ten years of America’s Got Talent enough for you?

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
