Carrie Underwood is arguably the most successful American Idol winner of all-time. She’s won numerous Grammy Awards, she’s a multi-platinum selling artist, a three-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Female Vocalist winner, and she’s been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Now that she’s victoriously tackled the music industry, Carrie has declared her interest in acting and she got a taste of the scripted spotlight during her FOX Holiday Special.

While many of us weren’t impressed by Carrie’s first comedic outing, she’ll have another shot this March when she’s scheduled to be a guest star on CBS’s hit comedy How I Met Your Mother. Billed as her acting debut, People Magazine says that Carrie will portray “Tiffany, an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted.” Carrie will follow in the footsteps of other notable How I Met Your Mother guest stars including Britney Spears, Sarah Chalke, and Rachel Bilson.
