ABC is about to make some pretty big changes to its Fall 2016 lineup, the most notable being the huge increase in comedy. With the addition of its two newest comedy series, American Housewife and Speechless, ABC will have more hours of comedy per week than any other network on television. Check out the trailers and get all the details for their all-new comedies below.

ABC’s Fall 2016 Schedule: Comedy Expands to 5 Hours, Scandal Pushed to Mid-Season>>>

American Housewife (Tuesdays at 8:30pm)

In this new series, Katy Mixon (Mike & Molly) plays the role of Katie Otto, a tough and unapologetic wife and mother of three. Katie has taken care of her family and brought them up with good values. Her priority in her children’s education causes her to move to the “hoity-toity” town of Westport, Connecticut, a place full of Stepford-like wives and families. Now she must keep her kids grounded while they adapt to a higher society. Check out the trailer below:

Speechless (Wednesdays at 8:30pm)

Minnie Driver (The RichesAbout a Boy) plays Maya, a determined mother who is willing to do absolutely anything for her family. Maya lives with her husband Jimmy and her kids Ray, Dylan and JJ. Maya fights many injustices and undergoes a lot of tribulations, especially given that her eldest son has special needs. While covering some difficult material, this all-star comedy team led by Driver and John Ross Bowie (The Big Bang Theory) has a lot of promise to be our new most heartwarming comedy on ABC (aside from Modern Family, of course).
