Born on September 14, 1971 in Rye, New York, Kimberly Williams-Paisley attended Northwestern University. She entered show business at the age of thirteen, appearing in commercials for Pizza Hut and Clearasil. As an actress, she was popularly known for her role as Annie Banks in the movie Father of the Bride and its sequel. Her other acting credits included The 10th Kingdom, Indian Summer, The War at Home, Relativity, How To Go Out On a Date In Queens, Following the Stars Home and Jake’s Women to name a few.

On the television series According to Jim, Williams-Paisley stars as Dana Gibson. She portrays the sister of Cheryl, played by Courtney Thorne-Smith, and the wife of Ryan Gibson, played by Mitch Rouse. Her transformation from being a wife to a mother has made the story line more interesting to watch. She exudes grace and wit in her infusion of feminism on the plot, which humorously gets in the way of Jim, played by Jim Belushi. Her inclusion to the cast certainly makes the show very entertaining.
