The eighth season of 24 kicks off with 24 more hours in the life of Jack Bauer, the revived CTU, and another crucial situation that needs to be solved, this time in New York.  With new cast members and a new dynamic, season 8 is set to be quite something.

Gregory Itzin will reprise his role as President Charles Logan, in an episode arc halfway through the season. Jennifer Westfeldt said she will return as reporter Meredith Reed later in the season.

Episode 8.07 "Day 8: 10:00 PM-11:00 PM"
The CTU helps an underground Jack Bauer to intercept nuclear materials, as President Taylor's intentions are questioned by the peace deal's other delegates.
