Following Brooks Ayers’ admission that he fabricated his medical documents in attempt to pacify people accusing him of faking his cancer diagnosis, his ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson is breaking her silence. In an interview with Extra, the Real Housewives of Orange County star reveals her reaction to Ayers’ bombshell, along with some scorching words for her ex.

RHOC Star Vicki Gunvalson’s Ex Brooks Ayers Apologizes for ‘Fabricating’ Medical Documents >>>

“I’m completely shocked. I’ve seen the bills. I went to City of Hope,” Gunvalson told Extra. “He was there all morning, so how do you think anything other than he’s getting chemo? You go to City of Hope because you have cancer, not because you have nothing else to do during the day.”

Ayers previously presented documents with the “City of Hope” logo to hopefully convince doubters that he’s not faking his cancer but a representative for City of Hope medical center revealed  that Ayers was never treated for cancer at their facility.

“I’m guilty of loving him and believing him. Who hasn’t believed someone that you loved?” said Gunvalson, who defended Ayers against the RHOC cast throughout season 10.

“I think they thought I was in on a scam. My life is so abundant, I didn’t need to make a fake story line, and I sure as hell wouldn’t make it up about Brooks,”Gunvalson said. “As God as my witness, I would never want to make something up like this; it’s actually quite sick.”

“I’m embarrassed. I want to tell the girls I’m sorry,” Gunvalson added.

RHOC Star Meghan King Edmonds on Vicki Gunvalson: ‘She is a Filthy Liar’>>>

Gunvalson’s apology, however, might be a little too late. Costar Meghan King Edmonds has already said she’s keeping her distance from Gunvalson while other cast members have no interest in filming with her.

“I don’t consider Vicki a friend, ” Edmonds told People. “I think she is a filthy liar who plays the victim, and I refuse to ever willingly associate myself with that.”

“I have no interest in filming with her,” Heather Dubrow said on her PodcastOne show, Heather Dubrow‘s World

As for how Gunvalson will deal with Ayers, the reality star leaves it to karma.

“I hate him, I hate him with everything in me, and I don’t hate people, but I believed him. I trusted him. I defended him, took a bullet for him when people didn’t like him,” she said.
