Will Revenge season 2 represent the year of the mother on the show? Based on these Revenge spoilers, there is a good chance of that. Find out what we can expect from Victoria and a few other mothers right here!

WARNING: As the title clearly implies, you will find Revenge season 2 spoilers here. If you do not like spoilers, I would suggest you leave. Now. Seriously, go. Still here? Cool. Let’s get to the spoilers then!

The B*tch Is Back!

Surely you know who I mean with that heading? That’s right, Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), the Ice Queen herself, will return to Revenge in season 2. We all suspected it, of course. But now there is confirmation.

E!Online quotes actor Josh Bowman (Daniel Grayson on Revenge) to prove that Victoria will somehow survive into season 2: “She’s not dead. You can’t kill off Victoria!”

Exactly.

Alas, there were casualties in the plane explosion that helped bring to an end the first season of Revenge. It seems that an airborne fireball did to Lydia what a fall from her apartment onto a taxi cab could not. Conrad Grayson’s sometimes-lover will not be back.

A Nicer-But-Still-Trampy Mommy

When Revenge season 2 begins, Amanda will be close to giving birth to Jack’s baby. Or whoever’s baby, since the chance of the child belonging to Jack seem slim.

Regardless of paternity, Amanda will be getting a baby shower this season. So of course she needs friends to attend. Emily barely counts, so Amanda will be bringing in a lady from her stripper past. TVLine reports that a somewhat scandalous young lady named Destiny will be in attendance.

And Then There’s That Other Mother

Until the end of Revenge season 1, we all believed that Emily’s mother was dead and gone. Emily certainly believed it. But that’s not the case. The dearly-not-departed Mrs. Clarke, set to be played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, will reenter her daughter’s life this season.

This might not be such a happy reunion. In addition to the whole abandonment and faked-death situation, Emily may have to deal with a mother who isn’t entirely sane (as reported by E!Online).

Shocking, right? Since Emily is so totally sane and all…

Revenge season 2 will premiere on Sunday, September 30 at 9pm on ABC.
