When FOX revealed its fall lineup, it wasn’t much of a surprise. The two big new shows for the network, Simon Cowell’s The X Factor and the dinosaur drama Terra Nova, have been in the works for a long time.

The other new shows coming this fall include three new comedies: New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, and a new animated series, Allen Gregory.

In mid-season, FOX will launch the Bones spin-off The Finder as well as the J.J. Abrams mystery Alcatraz and an animated version of Napoleon Dynamite.

Check out the full FOX trailers of these shows to get a better grasp of what’s to come.

Terra Nova (Mondays at 8pm)

This epic series has dinosaurs, which is really all I need to know. How can you not want to watch dinosaurs?

New Girl (Tuesdays at 9pm)

Zooey Deschanel is fantastic and quirky, so seeing her in a TV show is one of my dreams come true. My second dream? A show starring Max Greenfield, who I’ve loved since he was the adorable Deputy Leo D’Amato on Veronica Mars.

I Hate My Teenage Daughter (Wednesdays at 9:30pm)

As a general rule, I can’t stand multi-camera, laugh track sitcoms, but I’ll admit to some rather funny moments in this trailer, particularly between Katie Finneran and her character’s daughter.

Allen Gregory (Sundays at 8:30pm)

This new animated series about a home-schooled genius forced to enter public school looks kind of amusing.

Alcatraz (Mid-Season)

Yes! This looks brilliant, almost like Fringe when it first started, with both procedural and serialized elements and a brilliant cast. With Lost‘s Jorge Garcia, Jurassic Park‘s Sam Neill and J.J. Abrams, this show looks like everything that I love, which makes me mad that it’s pushed back until mid-season.

The Finder (Mid-Season)

The trailer is just cut together from the spin-off episode of Bones, so there’s nothing new, but it’s an excuse to see Geoff Stults strip down again.

Napoleon Dynamite (Mid-Season)

Does the world really want an animated version of a movie from seven years ago? And more importantly, is getting the entire original cast back to provide the voices really a huge accomplishment? It’s not like any of them have done anything remarkable since then?

Which new FOX show are you most looking forward to?
