If there’s one thing you can’t take away from the entire Hannah Montana franchise, it’s the music.  With the movie based on the series all ready to premiere next month, Disney thought it best to go right ahead by launching the film’s official soundtrack.  As it’s released in stores, there’s no doubt it will be yet another record-breaking venture.

“In the movie, my character goes back to Nashville,” Disney star Miley Cyrus announced.  “The soundtrack is all about Nashville and that’s where I’m from, that’s my roots.  I think that’s a lot of the reason I am who I am.”

From Walt Disney Records, the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack features songs from Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Steve Rushton, and Rascal Flatts.  It also has a special Glen Ballard-produced duet by the film’s focal father and daughter pair, titled “Butterfly Fly Away.”  In addition to that, the hit single “Back to Tennessee” is featured, which is incidentally the title track of Billy Ray’s upcoming solo album.

Of course, several songs from the album have already been released.  There’s the chart-topping single “The Climb,” and other Miley Cyrus efforts like “Let’s Get Crazy,” and “Hoedown Throwdown.”

Cyrus notes that she’s been getting lots of praise for the last one: “I have all these different kids at events who say, ‘Oh yea, I know the “Hoedown Throwdown” now,’ and that’s really cool that they’re getting to dance to it.  In the theatres, I think if they danced to it, it would be kind of cool.”

The network confirmed that there are a total of 18 songs on the official soundtrack of Hannah Montana: The Movie, and the track list is as follows:

1.“You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home” – Hannah Montana
2.“Let’s Get Crazy” – Hannah Montana
