Since 2006, The Disney Channel has gathered their biggest and brightest stars together for their version of the Olympics, The Disney Channel Games. This year, Disney decided to gather not only famous Disney celebs from the United States but went international, too! Players from Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Taiwan, and Australia joined this year’s games to play for charity. Every major Disney star you could think of was on hand to either compete or perform and things got kicked off this past weekend with the first event.  Read on to find out which team your favorite stars landed on and how the first event went this weekend!

The 37 contestants are split into four teams this year. David Henrie of Wizards of Waverly Place is the captain of the green team, aka The Cyclones. His teammates include his castmate Jennifer Stone, Jason Dolley of Cory In The House, Dylan Sprouse of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Joe Jonas of Camp Rock. His brother Kevin Jonas captained the yellow team, The Comets. Other players wearing yellow shirts were Kyle Massey of Cory In The House, Sabrina Bryan and Kunal Sharma of The Cheetah Girls: One World, Moises Airas of Hannah Montana, and Selena Gomez of Wizards of Waverly Place.

The blue team won the event and is hoping to continue their streak. This year, The Lightning are playing for The Starlight Foundation, which helps seriously ill children and their families cope through their difficult time.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus may have been too busy to participate in the games but she did show up for a special performance. She performed “Breakout” for thousands of screaming fans. Jordan Pruit will perform “One Love” while The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and The Cheetah Girls will perform 3 songs each.
