Beforehand, Kamu rehearsed a speech with Dee and later discussed it with Devens. His goal was to confront Jason about separate promises involving the Veto. Kamu also wanted to isolate Jason if he survived the week.
The party began calmly at 6:30 PM BBT. By 7:05 PM BBT, Kamu had sprung his trap. He claimed Jason promised Kamu control over the Veto while offering similar protection to the nominees.
Jason responded that he was building relationships and playing Big Brother. He denied promising to use the Veto on anyone. LaLa supported his version of the conversation.
Kamu also accused Jason of targeting the Icons and the Red Corner. Jason challenged the unnamed sources behind those claims. He then called out the “middlemen,” meaning Drew and Barrett, for connecting both sides of the house.
Devens tried to end the confrontation at 7:30 PM BBT. Kamu told Jason that survival could make the dispute “water under the bridge.” Angela Murray compared the aftermath to the “Red Wedding” from Game of Thrones.
LaLa became emotional, while Jason questioned why recent allies had suddenly turned against him. He asked whether anyone wanted to help him pack. The silent response reinforced Kamu’s attempt to leave him isolated.

Angela won the first vote but lost the challenge. She received the Egg Detective costume punishment. Rick Devens won the second vote and secured the Diamond Power of Veto.
The Diamond Power of Veto can remove one nominee and let Devens name the replacement. The Head of Household has no input. Moreover, the power remains valid for six weeks.
Only Dee knows Devens has it. The other players have discussed whether Jason holds a secret power, which gives Devens additional cover. Therefore, Devens can influence a later nomination without becoming the immediate suspect.
Round 3 voting opened with 13 eligible candidates. The two earlier vote winners and two evictees were removed. Five prizes and five punishments remained available.
