Though it has long been speculated that Bethenny Frankel gets “editorial approval” over scenes on The Real Housewives of New York City before they air, executive producer Andy Cohen finally dismisses the rumor and reveals that Frankel doesn’t have a say in how she’s portrayed on the Bravo reality series.

According to Cohen, Frankel has “no warning” over the footages, even when she acts “like a beast.”

“As a matter of fact, she gets the episode when everyone else does,” Cohen told Page Six.

“We send the Housewives the episodes the week before. She has absolutely no say.”

Cohen also claims the show doesn’t play favorites.

“I’ve said to [Bethenny] this season, ‘Oh, you’re not going to like x, y or z. You look like a beast!’ But she has nothing to do with editing, she has no knowledge of what’s going to be in the episodes, she has no warning,” he added. “Trust me, there are times, not from her but from certain Housewives, saying, ‘Please can you change this?’ And they know we never change the episodes. They are as they are.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
