But at the end of the day, these issues made them stronger and more determined to get to their happy place.
About the Cast of “Twenties”
The whole narrative of the show balances on key characters like the following cast:
Jonica “JoJo” T. Gibbs (Hattie):
Hattie is an actress who plays the female lead in the play “Twenties.” She’s a bit of a wildcard, but her role in the play is very much in line with Jonica’s true personality. She loves to party, and while she’s talented, she doesn’t always take her work as seriously as she should.
Christina Elmore (Marie):
Marie from “Twenties” is the main character’s best friend. She is funny, kind, and loyal. She is also a bit of a bad influence on our main character, who often gets in trouble with her.
Sophina Brown (Ida):
Ida B from “Twenties” is a no-nonsense woman who loves to eat and drink and laugh with her best friends but also knows how to set the record straight when she needs to. Sophina Brown plays her, and she will make you laugh until your sides hurt!
Gabrielle Graham (Nia):
Nia is a young woman struggling to find her place in the world. She’s going through an insecure rough patch, but she’s on her way up — and she knows it.
Jevon McFerrin (Chuck):
Chuck is a bit of an oddball and has a habit of making pretty strange comments. Additionally, he’s also one of the few characters in the show who always finds a way to enjoy himself.
Other notable cast members include:
- Parker Young (Zach)
- Iman Shumpert (Quintrell)
- Madeleine Byrne (Lauren)
- Sheria Irving (Lorraine)
- Nia Jervier (Vanessa)
- Ashli Haynes (Courtney)
- Alex Akpobome (Ben)
- Shylo Shaner (Idina)
