Biography
Madchen Amick is best known for her role as Shelly Johnson on the TV series Twin Peaks and its prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. When she was young, she learned to play several musical instruments such as the piano, bass, violin and guitar and even got exposed to tap, ballet, jazz and modern dance. By the time she was sixteen, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and first appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation and The Borrower. Her other notable acting credits include roles in Sleepwalkers, Dream Lover, French Exit, Central Park West, Fantasy Island, Viva Laughlin, Gossip Girl and Damages. In 2013, she joined the cast of the TV series Witches of East End. In 2015, she became part of American Horror Story. In 2017, she was cast as Alice Cooper on Riverdale and Shelly Johnson on Showtime’s Twin Peaks.
