Articles for The X-Files Season 9

David Duchovny drew massive attention for his role as Fox William "Spooky" Mulder on the science fiction series The X-Files. He portrayed a FBI special agent who believed in UFOs and government conspiracies, and focused on mysterious unsolved cases with his FBI partner and closest friend, Dana Scully. Distinctly known for his sardonic sense of humor, he established a trademark with his dry jokes even in the face of the most bizarre and dangerous incidents. Apart from his cynical persona, he was most known for his porn habits, which were recurrently perceived as a joke on throughout the series. Read more »

Summer used to be a total bummer for us TV fans. As the last of our favorite shows wrote "S.W.A.K." in our yearbooks on their way out of town for the summer, one question haunted our dreams on those hot June nights: "What am I supposed to watch now?"That is, until Netflix Instant was born. The internet collectively lost its mind when FOX announced, after months of rumors, that its 1990s cult hit The X-Files will return to the airwaves. This sci-fi favorite was well-known for playing coy with its viewers, leading them down dark narrative alleys across nine seasons before the series finale, which asked more questions than it answered. As always, the showrunner remains frustratingly silent, so here are a few theories of where the series might go. Read more »
