The Vampire Diaries season 4 hasn‘t always been a highlight of my Thursday night TV viewing, but one aspect that is a great improvement over the previous three seasons is with Jeremy Gilbert. After much build up about the search for the cure, the Mystic Falls residents arrived on the island led by Shane. Instead of action and intrigue, "Into the Wild" felt like a combination of a bad horror movie and Shane‘s story time. The hour was transitional by moving people and artifacts into place without many shockers. Read more »

That‘s because -- in addition to being creepy -- Cult is also a bit of a head-trip and might confuse you.That‘s why you should watch early and often. On the island, the cure was found, Silas was woken, but both came at Jeremy‘s expense. Katherine used his blood to feed Silas and grab the cure for herself. On The Vampire Diaries, just because someone dies, it doesn‘t mean they will remain that way. Jeremy has been killed and come back from the dead numerous times due to his protection ring. Will he be saved once again on "Stand By Me" or will his death finally stick? Read more »
Cult is a creepy show. I admit to having a nightmare after my first viewing of the pilot. That‘s what happens when a show purposely sneaks into your head and tries to make you doubt the very foundations of reality.Because Cult does this successfully, it makes for some great TV viewing. Read more »
Elena should be an expert at losing people she loves by now. Her parents died, Jenna died, Alaric died, just to name a few, but none compared to the pain of losing Jeremy, her last family member. After Jeremy‘s death on The Vampire Diaries, I expected at least a somewhat somber episode, but it definitely wasn‘t "Bring It On."
