Articles for The Millionaire Matchmaker Season 4

This has been such a fun week for Bravo! Also, if anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas (because only my family reads this?), I made everyone a comprehensive Bravo-lebrity book and gift guide. I‘d take some Andy Cohen Watch What Happens Live shot glasses, as well! Anyway, this week was pretty strange on Bravo, too. Here are my favorite weird things that happened:Kim Richards gives her daughter advice on how to be picky at a restaurant on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It was a really brief moment in the show, but Kim told her daughter she should send stuff back if it doesn‘t meet her standards. Her daughter protested, saying she felt bad for the people who made the food, but Kim said that the restaurant wouldn‘t want her to be unhappy. Really? Because I‘m pretty sure people in restaurants just want you to leave. Go ahead, take your business elsewhere!  Read more »
"Being alone isn‘t the worst thing." That‘s the conclusion that Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger‘s WORST CLIENT EVER came to last night after his reasonable date Rhett got fed up and threw a drink in his face.Unfortunately, that wasn‘t the lesson that Matthew, a self-made millionaire thanks to a "cookie diet" scheme, was supposed to learn. He was supposed to learn to not be such a pompous jerk whose face just BEGS to get drinks thrown in it. Oh well. Let‘s watch that face get what it deserves! Read more »
The Millionaire Matchmaker will not let its third season (its first in New York) go unnoticed! First they gave us the creepiest millionaire ever, who "tested" his date with scary food and kept looking at all the women with mental calculations like he was going to make a coat out of their skin. Last week we had a gay millionaire who got a drink thrown in his face (yes!), and Patti, as awful as she is, described him as a "gaygist" (a gay agist.) He may have been right about Patti‘s semi-homophobic ignorance, but he was a total prick, too. In its relentless style, The Millionaire Matchmaker has given us another person we wish would just fall out of the sky (dead) like all those birds in Louisiana. Meet Robin, owner of a beauty PR firm, and lover of all things pink and Hello Kitty. As if my groan could not be audible enough, she is also completely intolerable and shallow. She is the Millionaire Club‘s first "plumpty dumpty." Read more »
This week in Bravo programming, there were a few moments when I realized I had NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON. In a good way, of course. The best example of this came from The Millionaire Matchmaker finale. Stacy, one of Patti‘s many nemeses, came back asking for another chance. Her last date didn‘t go well and made her look crazy, and this one turned out pretty much the same way. Here‘s how the date started, with Stacy showing her date this weird B-grade video she made called, "The Lingerie Script." Read more »
Bravo knows drama, (screw you, TNT!) even when the cameras stop rolling. Here‘s what‘s happening in the Bravo universe lately.NeNe Leakes to Leave Real Housewives of Atlanta? Why not? She‘s going to be an even bigger star and an even more unstoppable force after Celebrity Apprentice! On Sunday‘s Watch What Happens Live when Andy Cohen asked NeNe about next season she responded, "I‘m not really interested in joining the next season. I‘m just not really interested right now."Is this for real? Do you think it is or is it just talk? NENE DON‘T GOOOO!!! [Zap2it]  Read more »
Oh my god, Bravo is giving us so much new programming my heart will explode (with joy). Before we get into it, I just want to put it out there that I think Pregnant in Heels will become the new Millionaire Matchmaker--the show we watch because it makes rich people look really crazy. And next week, a dog pees on a wedding dress. Onward! Here are the new shows Bravo is picking up:First off, there are a few Revamps of Old Favorites: Read more »
