If you‘re wondering if sharp-tongued Stephen Colbert can walk the talk in his numerous tirade on the Iraq war, wonder no more, as The Colbert Report packs its bag and heads to the Persian Gulf to broadcast the show live.  The move, called "Operation Iraqi Stephen: Going Commando," is quickly lauded by critics to add another dimension of realism to the show, in itself is already a very politically mature vehicle which carries very political issues.  Of course, the same critics predict that ratings will most probably shoot through the roof with the development.The Associated Press reported late last week that Stephen Colbert of The Colbert Report did land in Iraq, and is set to broadcast four episodes of his show directly from Baghdad next week.  Another exciting bit is the news that defeated Alaska governor Sarah Palin had taped a greeting to air on the show for the troops.  If you‘ve seen an episode of The Colbert Report at least once during election season, you can trust the folks at the Comedy Central will use it to their advantage in the episodes, which will be taped in front of a live audience of troops in an undisclosed military base.
