With Dr. Hillman’s aid, Jackie is up and around on her feet although Nick is worried if it is too soon. Dr. Hillman says she is very determined and her walking and speech have improved considerably. Nick sits by her side and holds her hand. She notices he’s not wearing his wedding ring. Simply he replies that Brooke ended the marriage. She needs time for herself and the children. She grimaces and he tells her just to rest, his only concern is what Stephanie did to her. But, she’s not thinking of this quite the way Jackie is.Brooke returns to the office and Ridge is surprised to see her after what happened last night. But instead of talking about that, he wants to concentrate on what’s happening between the two of them. He tells Logan he feels like they are coming full circle. It’s kind of like they are picking up where they left off. She teases that she thought he wasn’t going to pressure her. He says he’s not, he’s just glad she is back where she belongs – back at Forrester and in his arms. He gives her a hug and almost a kiss when Stephanie and Eric walk in. He insists that she confess that she pushed his mother over this same railing and calls her a liar when she won‘t. He rants at her that she doesn‘t give a damn who she hurts! He clenches his teeth, but finally lets up saying it would be so easy... so easy, but he‘s not like her, and neither is his mother. Next month, actor Alan Thicke will be reprising his role on the daytime drama series, The Bold and the Beautiful. Thicke first appeared on the popular soap opera in August 2006 as Rich Ginger, a controversial talk show host who interviewed Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) after she became the spokesmodel for Forrester Creations.  This year, Thicke‘s Rich will have Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy) on his talk show as part of the duo‘s effort to promote the latest product from Forrester Originals. Read more »

Emmy-award winner Heather Tom has been tapped for a role on CBS‘ daytime drama series, The Bold and the Beautiful.  The 31-year-old actress is reportedly set to play Katie Logan, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Donna‘s (Jennifer Gareis) younger sister.  Tom will be taking over actress Nancy Sloane, who portrayed the role from 1987-1989, and at different points in time from 1991-2004. Heather Tom‘s involvement in The Bold and the Beautiful marks her third role in daytime television.  She spent twelve years on another CBS soap opera, The Young and the Restless, during which she earned eight Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actress.  She won the category twice, first in 1993 and then again in 1999. Read more »

On today‘s episode, Brooke tells the social worker, Dorothy Bascom, that she thinks Stephanie shouldn‘t have custody of her children.  She vows that she will get them back.  Brooke tries to convince the social worker that she has complied with everything asked of her, but the social worker doesn‘t look convinced.  Dorothy brings up the fact that Brooke gets careless and neglectful whenever there is a man involved.Finally, Dorothy is convinced and tells her that she will request a hearing for tomorrow to see if Brooke can get Hope and RJ back. Read more »
We open with Brooke and Andy at the restaurant.  Andy has just revealed that he is her secret admirer who gave her the bird in the cage.  He says that they have met before, but Stephanie doesn‘t remember.  She finally flashbacks and remembers that at that very restaurant, he tried to buy her a drink and when she declined, he yelled nastily.  She tries to go, but he alludes to her child custody case and says that he has some knowledge of family law.Constantine and Phoebe discuss the Bold Face Challenge.  Phoebe is concerned that she won‘t be able to sing lovey-dovey lyrics to Rick, but Constantine says that singing is just like acting.Nick drops in on Stephanie at home to discuss Brooke‘s case. Read more »
We open today‘s episode at Brooke‘s.  Andy is there, looking menacing in the shadows.  He says that he got in through the terrace door which she always leaves open.  He tries to stay, asking her for some "adult fun."  She insists that he leave, but he pours himself a drink.Felicia has just arrived home to Stephanie, reporting that Brooke left the restaurant alone.Phoebe and Rick are still talking about the Bold Face Challenge singing competition.  Phoebe says that she can‘t sing to him about wanting to spend the rest of her days together. Read more »

It is morning.  Brooke, still holding the knife, sits on the couch flashbacking her horrible evening.  The security system guy Everett arrives to rewire the security system and to change the locks.  Brooke also wants a full time security guard to watch the place.A little later on Dorothy arrives.  She has brought along a trainee to provide a second opinion on Brooke‘s behavior.Ridge arrives at Stephanie‘s where she shows him a picture of Stephanie and Andy on the front page of the paper.  Stephanie is succeeding in planting seeds of doubt in Ridge‘s mind. Read more »
We open with Brooke and her daughter Bridget.  Brooke tearfully tells her what happened last night.  Brooke tells her everything, from her first meeting with Andy to the events that transpired last night at the house.We cut to a shot of the floor around Donna‘s and Thorne‘s couch.  There are various items of clothing strewn about, and sure enough, the camera angle shifts to show Brooke and Thorne canoodling on the couch.  Funny, Donna drew on Thorne with the erasable marker on yesterday‘s episode, but wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles, he seems pretty clean today. Read more »
The episode starts with an establishing shot of sprawling Middle America, ending with the exterior of Brooke‘s house.  Inside, Bridget has brought up breakfast for her mom.  Ridge calls and asks where Brooke is.  Brooke has missed Hope‘s recital.  Since when are recitals scheduled so early in the day?On the other end of the line, Stephanie is still buzzing evilly around Ridge‘s ear.  The lawyer is there also and reports that Hope and RJ‘s biological father has signed a statement of abandonment, leaving Ridge free to file for full custody of the children.Finally, after much hype, we finally see the stage for the Boldface Challenge.  Constantine and Phoebe meet Constantine‘s promoter, Don.  Later, Ashley finds Phoebe and reveals that she has something to say about Rick. Read more »
Today, on The Bold and the Beautiful, the Boldface Challenge is upon us.  It better be good considering all the hype.  Donna and Thorne arrive.  Constantine introduces Phoebe to Elliot Yamin and Jon McLaughlin, as Rick watches from afar.  A bit later, Rick finds Phoebe in her dressing room.  He tells her that he will mean every word that he‘ll sing to her, and she won‘t be confused anymore.Meanwhile, Stephanie is still in Brooke‘s bedroom, accusing Brooke of whoring it up with Andy.  This gives Brooke another chance to flashback to her terrifying night.Constantine introduces Jon McLaughlin on the stage.  As we cut to the opening credits.  Ooh, new opening sequence! Read more »
The big story on The Bold and the Beautiful this week revolved around Brooke.  She has just been raped by Andy, who threatens to keep her kids away from her forever if she reports him.  She stabs him when he tries to rape her again, succeeding in getting him our of the house.  Dorothy from Child Protective Services drops in on Brooke after her attack, and postpones the hearing due to Brooke‘s unstable emotional state.  Bridget also comes by to check in on Brooke, finds out about the rape and spends time helping Brooke recover.All the while, Stephanie is buzzing in Ridge‘s ear about how he shouldn‘t trust such a promiscuous tramp like Brooke with his children.  Ridge proves that he has no backbone by signing the petition she convinced him to make to gain full custody of the children.  Someone needs to stand up to her, and I hope it‘s Brooke. Read more »
Ridge and Brooke open today‘s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.  He has come over to ask her why she wasn‘t at the concert.  She accuses him of being under his mother‘s thumb.  That‘s pretty true.  What‘s the deal with Brooke‘s security system?  Isn‘t the point of having an alarm system and a security guard so that people can‘t come in?After the credits, we cut back to the concert.  It‘s Rick and Phoebe who are singing!  They are pretty good actually, but I‘m sure Randy would say that Phoebe is a bit "pitchy," dog.  Apparently, Phoebe was just kidding herself about not loving Rick anymore because as soon as they are done with their duet, they kiss passionately on the stage. Read more »

The Bold and the Beautiful opens at the Cafe Russe.  Ridge has espied Andy coming in and the two men eye each other.  Andy knows what‘s up and makes a break for it.Eric and Stephanie are evaluating Eric‘s designs on the models.  Stephanie objects to a particularly lowcut piece as too risque, but Eric says that "skin is always in."  I agree with him.  it‘s a pretty tasteful dress, and it‘s not like it‘s JLo‘s green Oscar dress.Donna comes in with a mockup of her wedding invitation.  Donna wants to have it at the Forrester manse, but Stephanie objects.  Eric says it‘s okay, and Thorne suggests having the wedding next week. Read more »
The Bold and the Beautiful begins with a recap of Ridge and Andy on the roof, Andy wielding the electrical metal pole thingie.A voiceover informs us that the role of Katie Logan is now played by Heather Tom.Stephanie continues to warn Thorne about Donna.Ashley calls Ridge and leaves a message on his voicemail from the lab.  She is wearing what looks like a cocktail dress under her lab coat, which is preposterous.  Rick comes by with some paperwork, and tells her that Phoebe dumped him for good.  Ashley looks disappointed. Read more »
On The Bold and the Beautiful, it is morning and Hope and RJ are having breakfast with Stephanie.  They spent the night with their grandmother, but they say that they miss their mother and can‘t wait to see her again.  They, like many young children on television, talk as if they have a mild mental disability.  Ashley shows up with her daughter Abby.  Ashley and Stephanie engage in some expository conversation about how Ridge has not been seen since he signed the petition to request full custody.Meanwhile, Ridge is in Brooke‘s bedroom, having just brought up a tray of breakfast foods.  They are very sweet with each other.Nick and Jacqueline are still planning their copyright lawsuit to get the better of those pesky Forresters. Read more »
Brooke tells Ridge about everything that happened to her the night she was raped. Ridge decides to drop the lawsuit and hunt Andy down for revenge. Ridge finds Andy on the roof of the Cafe Russe. One thing leads to another, and Andy gets electrocuted and dies, but not before revealing that he had an accomplice who fed him intimate details about Brooke‘s life. Ridge brings the kids home to Brooke and vows to find the accomplice. Neither of them knows yet that Stephanie is the accomplice. Read more »
The Bold and the Beautiful opens with Brooke reading to her kids.  Ridge is still there and just did the dishes.  What a nice little nuclear family we have here on The Bold and the Beautiful.  The kids want to go up to Big Bear to their cabin, and Ridge shrugs his shoulders why not?Donna is trying on wedding dresses with Jacqueline.  They catch us up on Donna‘s motivation, how she got involved with Thorne in the first place to get back at Stephanie for taking Brooke‘s children away from her.  Donna says that Thorne is kind and handsome and an amazing guy, so why shouldn‘t she want to marry him.  Jacqueline says it‘s because Donna doesn‘t love him, which Donna doesn‘t disagree with.  Thorne comes in and says that they have a problem. Read more »
Last time on The Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke may still be in love with Ridge; Donna still wants to marry Thorne but is definitely not in love with him.Today is the day of the wedding, and Stephanie comes home to find Donna getting the flowers together for the wedding.  Stephanie is furious and asks to speak to Eric in the den, but not before she breaks a vase and kicks over a chair.  A little immature?  Eric and Stephanie argue about Thorne‘s decision about getting married.  Eric just wants Thorne to be happy and refuses to go along with scheming Steph.Thorne is on the phone with Ridge when Felicia comes in.  Felicia decolletage is veritably spilling out of strappy blue gown.Katie comes over to Forrester manor and Donna asks her to be her maid of honor. Read more »

The Bold and the Beautiful begins with Brooke having flashbacks about her attack again.  I suppose that since the wedding storyline is done, we can now go back to the only other available storyline here.  Ridge has hired a private investigator to track down the accomplice that Andy alluded to before he got fried.Katie is at Stephanie‘s house at Stephanie‘s request.  Old Stephanie wants to thank Katie for interfering with Donna‘s and Thorne‘s wedding.  Katie, who rocks by the way, bitches that she did it for Donna‘s sake but she‘s not going to stand by and listen to Stephanie tongue-lash her sisters.  We and Katie find out that Stephanie really called Katie over so that she can get to scoop on Brooke.  Because, you see, now that she doesn‘t have to worry about Donna, she has time to go back to Brooke. Read more »
Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric is working from home, and Ashley comes by to talk to him.  They discuss that Thorne has been throwing himself in his work to get over the wedding debacle.  Ashley asks Eric for his perspective on the whole Ridge and Brooke situation.  Eric says that he and Stephanie do not see eye to eye on their son‘s life.  Eric believes that Ridge and Brooke are still in love with each other.Meanwhile, Ridge is still at the Cafe Russe with his private investigator.  The cellphone they found works, but is locked so they can‘t access the numbers.  The PI suggests calling Andy‘s secretary, who probably knows the password.Felicia comes over to Ridge‘s to see if Stephanie has gone there to lay into Brooke again. Read more »
Former Young and the Restless actress, Heather Tom, is pleased to be part of the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful.  As reported previously, the 31-year-old actress has signed a six-month long contract with the long-running soap, taking over the role of Katherine "Katie" Logan, who was previously portrayed by Nancy Sloan. Despite the wish I made yesterday on my fallen eyelash, The Bold and the Beautiful is back again today.  My eyelash was sacrificed in vain.Felicia does her best to tell Brooke that she needs to go to the police, or else the sick bastard (read: Stephanie) who fed Andy Johnson the information will stay free to victimize another woman.At the Cafe Russe, we find out that the private investigator is a lot smarter than poor, dumb Ridge.  The PI has already put two and two together and suspects that Stephanie has something to do with Andy.  Poor, dumb Ridge stays firmly in denial. Read more »
On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Brooke is incredulous to find out that Stephanie was Andy‘s accomplice.  Eric snoops around Stephanie‘s desk and finds a clipping of the photo from the Cafe Russe of Andy and Brooke.  Bridget comes over to Eric‘s in tears because of concern over her mother.Brooke and Ridge both feel ill at the thought of Stephanie‘s evil ways.  Instead of actually going to the police or confronting her, they just jabber on and on about how sick she is.Bridget, who is still in the dark about Stephanie‘s evil, evil ways, is trying to figure out how Andy Johnson knew about the intricacies of Brooke‘s child custody case.  Bridget leaves the room to take a call, and Eric takes that opportunity to break into Stephanie‘s locked drawer.  In it, he finds a napkin on which is written Andy Johnson‘s number. Read more »
This week on the The Bold and the Beautiful was really quite an emotional roller-coaster for Stephanie Forrester.  It started out with Donna and Thorne‘s wedding.  Thorne had just received the shocker of all shockers from Katie Logan that Donna doesn‘t really love him and is just marrying him to get back at Stephanie.  Thorne called off the wedding at the last minute and disappeared from screen for the rest of the week, ostensibly burying himself in work to get over Donna.  Predictably, Stephanie was elated, and tried to lure Katie over to her side.  But Katie, who just wants everyone to get along, approached Felicia and Brooke to negotiate a truce between their two families. Read more »
Sean Kanan, former cast member on The Bold and the Beautiful, faces yet another DUI case.  The soap star is currently charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or higher. According to, Kanan pleads not guilty to the DUI allegations put forward earlier this summer. The former Bold and the Beautiful actor was arrested on August 18 for suspicion of DUI but was able to post bail for $30,000.  He was then summoned to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom on September 17, in which he pleaded not guilty.  Prior to this, he was convicted of DUI in 1998.  If found guilty the second time around, he faces a minimum sentence of 96 hours or 4 days in jail.  But if condemned with the maximum sentence, he could face up to one year in prison.  Read more »

Dallas‘ Patrick Duffy is returning to the lavish and extravagant world of CBS‘ The Bold and the Beautiful.  The 58-year old actor who is best known to televiewers as Bobby Ewing on the popular late `70s to early `90s show, Dallas, will reprise his role as Stephen Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful. According to TV Guide, Patrick Duffy‘s character will make his way back to the Los Angeles-based Forresters of The Bold and the Beautiful sometime next month, after he is summoned by his younger daughter, Donna, played by Jennifer Gareis. Read more »
The Bold and the Beautiful took a shocking turn when Eric Forrester and Donna Logan, who happens to be the sister of Eric‘s ex-wife, Brooke, shared a passionate kiss and brought their relationship to a whole new level.  For John McCook, who plays the Forrester patriarch, the development is a very welcome change, as he says it has breathed new life into his character. “I‘ve had a real re-energizing of Eric,” McCook told Soap Opera Weekly, adding his character is enjoying the relationship because he has come to realize that there was something missing in his life other than a warm bed. After skipping town last month, The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Stephanie Douglas is getting ready to storm back on Friday, October 19.  She‘s not alone, however, as her mother, Ann, is set to return as well.  Guest star Betty White (The Golden Girls) will reprise her role as the Douglas matriarch. Hunter Tylo, one of the stars of CBS‘ The Bold and the Beautiful, suffered a devastating blow last week when her 19-year-old son, Michael Tylo, Jr., accidentally drowned while at a home in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson. According to Henderson police spokesperson Todd Rasmussen, Michael was already without life when police arrived at the house following a call from an unidentified person.  Tylo, who appears as Dr. Taylor MArone on The Bold and the Beautiful, was in Los Angeles at the time of the incident, show representative Eva Demirjan said.  Read more »
Mykel Shannon Jenkins, the first winner of SoapNet‘s reality competition, I Wanna Be a Soap Star, has joined the cast of CBS‘ The Bold and the Beautiful.  According to executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell, Jenkins will appear on the daytime drama as Charlie Baker. Jenkins‘ Charlie is the son of Lt. Baker (Dan Martin) and has recently been promoted to the rank of detective in the police department. Charlie enters the series as Eric Forrester (John McCook) regains control of Forrester Creations, and is an essential part of The Bold and the Beautiful‘s “hottest and most suspenseful story-arc of the year.” Read more »
It has been 10 months since the passing of one of The Bold and the Beautiful‘s most colorful regulars, Darlene Conley, who played the feisty Sally Spectra.  In celebration of her remarkable life, the soap is staging a fashion event, in collaboration with Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Darlene Conley had essayed the role of Sally Spectra, proverbial thorn on the butts of the Forresters on The Bold and the Beautiful for nearly two decades, until she finally succumbed to stomach cancer on January 14 of this year.  Two days shy of her first death anniversary, her friends and co-stars from The Bold and the Beautiful will lead a fashion extravaganza in memory of her. Read more »
To celebrate The Bold and the Beautiful‘s 20th anniversary, the show has released a hardcover book entitled The Bold and the Beautiful In Celebration of Twenty Years of Television.  The book, which can now be purchased via the show‘s official website, features year-by-year summaries, interviews, behind-the-scenes stories and numerous photos. The book was penned by Eva Demirjian, the Director of Communications & Talent Relations for The Bold and The Beautiful.  According to Demirjian, creating the book was no walk in the park, as she had to some extensive research in order to ensure the finished product would be of excellent quality. Read more »

Losing a gig may be a fear among many film and television actors, but it‘s not for up-and-coming daytime drama star, Mykel Shannon Jenkins.  The 38-year-old actor, who won the first season of SOAPnet‘s I Wanna Be A Soap Star and is now appearing on CBS‘ The Bold and the Beautiful, remained optimistic when his character on General Hospital was killed off, as he is not one who “believes in scarcity." “When I was leaving [General Hospital] everybody was feeling bad, but I was excited, because I was excited about tomorrow, about the next story that I was actually going to be able to tell,” Jenkins said. Read more »
As previously reported on our Young and the Restless page, Eileen Davidson is back in Genoa City for a limited, three-episode story arc, reprising the role of Ashley Abbott, which she originated on The Young and the Restless back in 1982.  Now essaying the same role on The Bold and the Beautiful, Davidson and her Ashley Abbott persona have returned to their roots starting with the episode last December 28 and carrying on today till tomorrow. It’s been a while since hunky Lorenzo Lamas was last seen on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful.  For two years, Lamas portrayed firefighter Hector Ramirez on the daytime drama.  Since leaving the show in 2006, the son of actors Arlene Dahl and Fernando Lamas has literally found his voice and taken a different path onstage.The former Bold and the Beautiful co-star will appear in a series of performances showcasing both his newly-harnessed singing chops as well as his own brand of self-deprecating humor.  Lamas will take the stage at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach until March 2. Read more »

The 35th annual Daytime Emmy Awards are scheduled to air tonight at 8pm on ABC. Daytime regulars Cameron Mathison (All My Children) and Sherri Shepherd (The View) will act as master and mistress of ceremonies.Mathison will be wearing a tuxedo by Arnold Brant, and Shepherd will sport gowns by Badgley Mishka and Angela Dean and jewelry by Chopard.The list of nominations was announced on Wednesday, April 30 with CBS, in particular The Young and the Restless, nabbed the most noms: 56 and 17, respectively. Read more »
After playing Ziggy Deadmarsh on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2002, Matthew Borlenghi returns to daytime television to join yet another soap.  This time, he‘ll be gracing the town of Salem as he joins the cast of Days of our Lives. It seems that the rumor is true: Rick Hearst is leaving General Hospital after all! The 44-year-old actor has expressed some concern over his character Ric Lansing‘s lack of new story last year, fueling rumors that show executives might eventually pull the plug on the his character on General Hospital. ABC has remained tightlipped over the issue but has presented Hearst with a new contract last September, suggesting that he will "continue with us for the foreseeable future." Six months later, however, the network has set Rick Lansing‘s last day on General Hospital on June 25 as Rick Hearst has decided to join the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful.  Read more »
