So You Think You Can Dance is back, baby! It‘s time for a new crop of dancing hopefuls to hit the stage and show their talent. This episode will show the try-outs in New Orleans and Chicago.Our resident judges, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, will be joined by guest judges for the audition rounds. Actor, singer, and comedian Wayne Brady will sit in for the New Orleans round, and Jenna Elfman will watch the Chicago try-outs. It is finally time for what is, in my opinion, the most brutal round in the So You Think You Can Dance competition: callbacks. A total of 157 dancers made it to this point. It was a spectacular night of performances when the So You Think You Can Dance top 20 dancers hit the stage to perform live for your votes.  They were each matched with another dancer in their same style, which was interesting. It was a night of some amazing performances on So You Think You Can Dance, and some others that just didn‘t measure up. The first two eliminated contestants, Malene Ostergaard and Nick Garcia, were sent home by the judges. I must admit that I was a bit surprised that Malene was eliminated. I thought that she was one of the strongest ballroom dancers.  We also found out that after the Top 10 are chosen, it is completely up to viewer votes as to who gets sent home. The second wave of nominations for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards have been announced. On the TV side, Pretty Little Liars leads the pack with five nominations.Seven shows are tied for second with three nominations each: Glee, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diaries, Baby Daddy, Sleepy Hollow, Reign and Chasing Life. After an incredibly competitive season, So You Think You Can Dance crowned America‘s favorite dancer: Ricky Ubeda.
