Articles for Project Runway Season 12

The 2013 Emmy Award nominations were announced Thursday morning, and as usual, it‘s a crazy mix of established frontrunners and a few new faces. American Horror Story: Asylum led all programs with 17 nominations, followed closely by Game of Thrones with 16. 30 Rock was the top comedy with 13 nominations for its final season.  Read more »
It‘s season 12 of Project Runway and it‘s only been 30 seconds into the episode before the phrases "you either love me or you hate me" and "I‘m a force to be reckoned with" have been uttered. I‘m glad our fresh group of designers have all paid attention in their Reality TV Confessionals 101 courses.  Read more »
Project Runway has really been pushing the dramatic challenge reveal this season. Last episode, sky-divers jumped out of a plane to introduce the unconventional material challenge. Previously on Project Runway, everyone‘s favorite sustainable designer, Timothy explained his mission to keep unicorns alive by using recyclable materials, Helen sent a paper-clipped dress down the runway, and someone completely different was eliminated. C‘est la vie, I suppose.  Read more »
This week‘s Project Runway starts off with a little glimpse of the night‘s upcoming drama. We see the designers backstage, presumably after a runway show, where Sandro and Ken and Helen are in a three-way battle of who can be bleeped the most. It culminates with Sandro storming off, taking down pieces of the set and production assistants in his wake.  Read more »
First off dear readers, I must apologize for missing last week! But don‘t you worry your fashionista heads, I‘m back this week for good... just like the chip on Ken‘s shoulder after failing so horribly in last week‘s challenge.  Read more »
Last week on Project Runway, Justin was eliminated but Tim Gunn rode in on his white horse and rescued him from certain reality TV death! It‘s a bird, it‘s a plane, it‘s a sharply dressed fashion connoisseur with great catchphrases and a large vocabulary! Tim Gunn, you‘re our hero!  Read more »
Last week on Project Runway, the designers had to create little black dresses... oh wait, no. Three little black dresses were in the top looks, but the actual challenge was to design a look around shoes. I guess I‘m still feeling a little salty about last week‘s episode, but I‘ll get over it soon.  Read more »
So, unfortunately for all of us Project Runway fans who love good fashion and designers with a sunny disposition, Ken survived yet another week to complain about everything while at the same time maintaining that he is better than everyone else in the competition. Womp womp. RIP all the other designers who we would rather be watching.  Read more »

So the judges didn‘t have the guts to eliminate even a single designer last week so now Justin, Alexandria and Helen have to battle it out in order to get a chance to compete with Dom and Bradon at New York Fashion Week. In six weeks the three former designers in danger will have to show some of their looks off on the runway for the judges.  Read more »
It‘s the Project Runway season 12 finale! Maybe the judges will even figure out how this show works and actually eliminate three of the finalists and name a winner. Here‘s hoping!  Read more »
