Three-time Emmy Award-winning Edie Falco, best known for her lead role on the critically acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos, returns to the small screen on June with the Showtime dark comedy Nurse Jackie.  Falco, 45, bagged the titular role in the upcoming series which Showtime described as "wicked, heartbreaking, and funny."Set to premiere on June 8, Nurse Jackie is reportedly based on the provocative journal of a real-life Manhattan ER nurse.  The "flawed" nurse is said to have a dual personality, at once a saint and a sinner.  As saint, he is a nurse, wife, and mother; and as sinner, he is addicted to pain killers, adulterer, and even vigilante (she also suffers from Robin Hood complex). Read more »

Tonight on Nurse Jackie, Jackie (Edie Falco) and her husband Kevin (Dominic Fumusa) start to become concerned that their older daughter Grace might be suffering from anxiety disorder, while hospital administrator Mrs. Akalitus mistakenly drinks Jackie‘s "special" coffee.On the last episode of Nurse Jackie - the pilot of the Showtime dark comedy - we were introduced to a very complex character.  She says and repeats, "Make me good, God, but not yet," but at the same time snorts painkillers, has sex with the hospital pharmacist, and has the proclivity to flush body parts down the toilet. Read more »
