The nominations have been announced for the 2014 People‘s Choice Awards.Glee leads the pack with eight nominations, including Favorite Network TV Comedy and nods for Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Jane Lynch and Lea Michele. Both The Big Bang Theory and Grey‘s Anatomy come in second with five nominations each, and How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Castle, The Walking Dead and Vampire Diaries all have four. Read more »

CBS has become the latest network to announce spring 2014 finale dates for its shows. Most end in May, as usual, but two will close out in April and there are even some shows ending as early as the end of March.How I Met Your Mother kicks everything off with its previously announced one-hour series finale on March 31. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association has announced nominations for the 2014 Critics‘ Choice TV Awards, and both network and cable TV lead the field. The Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, Fargo, Masters of Sex and the recent HBO film The Normal Heart are tied for the most nods with five each.The Americans, Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black and Sherlock: His Last Vow all have four nominations. Read more »
The winners were announced Thursday night for the 2014 Critics‘ Choice TV Awards. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association honors dramas, comedies, reality TV and talk shows.Orange is the New Black and Fargo came away as the big winners of the night, with three awards each. OITNB won for Best Comedy Series, with Kate Mulgrew winning Best Supporting Actress -- but it was a tie with Mom‘s Allison Janney. (Janney also won for her role on Masters of Sex.) CBS has set its premiere dates for Fall 2014, and as usual, the vast majority of the network‘s shows will debut in the final week of September.
