A number of cult favorites representing various popular television genres over the years are about to get another chance to entertain more viewers beginning next month. SCI FI Channel has just acquired the rights to several beloved titles in the CBS library, headed by Ghost Whisperer starring Jennifer Love Hewitt.
The Emmy Award nominated series leads a slew of well-loved programs in the CBS vault soon to enthrall a new generation via a major deal giving SCI FI Channel off-network cable rights to air them.

Previously on Ghost Whisperer, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) nearly escaped a cave-in after being lured to a haunted underground city by the spirit of her presumed dead father (Martin Donavan). And because of this, her husband Jim (David Conrad) became very protective.

In case you haven't heard, the second season of the original scripted award-winning, online companion series to CBS's Ghost Whisperer has already began streaming as of Friday last week.
Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side II is the new season of webisodes that takes viewers to a unique journey from the perspective of a ghost as he learns to navigate the Spirit World and intersect the world of the living.

While many celebrities aspire to grace the pages of Playboy, Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of the supernatural series Ghost Whisperer, has refused to pose nude in the infamous men's magazine.
The proposal to appear on Playboy stemmed from her recent blog post in response to unflattering pictures of her in a bikini taken last month by the paparazzi as she was enjoying a romantic vacation with fiancé Ross McCall, which prompted some tabloids to poke fun at her figure and come up with speculations of Hewitt having weight issues.

The star of CBS' Ghost Whisperer may soon be uttering two of life's biggest words. Yes, Jennifer Love Hewitt, who plays lead character, Melinda Gordon, on the supernatural drama, could be saying “I do” in the near future.
According to various reports, Hewitt and her Scottish boyfriend, Ross McCall, are now an officially engaged couple.

Earlier in the season, it was revealed that Jay Mohr's Ghost Whisperer character, Professor Rick Payne, is a bit infatuated with the show's lead, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt). However, there's one problem standing Rick's way: Melinda is happily married to Jim Clancy (David Conrad).
Mohr, a 37-year-old actor-comedian, admitted that even he has no idea if anything will become of his character's romantic feeling towards the attractive antique store owner.

Aside from the interactive video project, The Scariest Story Ever Told, Ghost Whisperer will also be launching an online séance through its executive producer, James Van Praagh, on Wednesday, October 31 at 3pm ET on CBS.com.
This Halloween, fans of the supernatural series may call in and personally speak with Van Praagh. During this one-hour streaming video event, chatters may converse in a special chat room and watch live streaming videos while Van Praagh attempts to connect with the dead and share readings.

Fans can now participate in creating horror on Ghost Whisperer. Just in time for Halloween, the CBS supernatural drama series is hosting an interactive video version of the old writer's game “exquisite corpse” and is inviting everyone to join in.
This interactive project is tagged as the “Scariest Story Ever Told” and is an opportunity for fans to make the most of their gory imagination by contributing the next account of a scary story, initiated by Jennifer Love Hewitt and the rest of the cast of Ghost Whisperer.
