Fans of director Paul Haggis have been eagerly waiting for his latest project ever since rumors began swirling that his critically acclaimed film Crash will be made into a 13-episode series.  And as the Haggis‘ latest feature heads to the small screen, more and more details are gradually hitting the surface.Crash, for those who are not familiar, is about the racial and social tensions in Los Angeles, inspired by Haggis‘ real life experience in which his Porsche was carjacked outside a video store on Wilshire Boulevard in 1991.  The movie was internationally released in 2005 and won three Oscars for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Editing of 2005 at the 78th Academy Awards.  It featured Brendan Fraser, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Esposito, Matt Dillon, and Keith David, just to name a few. Read more »

Being highly involved in cop shows and war flicks, actor Tom Sizemore is having a difficult time avoiding the police.  The Crash star was arrested early this Thursday on an outstanding drugs warrant. He was taken into custody once the LAPD heard reports of gunshots.The ominous sounds of violence were heard at the Mount Olympus area of Hollywood Hills, where the authorities immediately headed.  Sizemore and a friend were found at the scene and were questioned by the cops.  Unfortunately for the actor, it was discovered that he still had the said narcotics warrant from the central California town of Bakersfield. Read more »
