#12 Andrew and Caroline Spark a Romance in “The Blood from the Stones”

Nearly everyone else has fallen in love on this show in the past 8 seasons, so why not Caroline? When a documentary filmmaker comes to the Jeffersonian to film Dr. Brennan and her team, Caroline meets what could be the man of her dreams. Caroline and Andrew may not have been everyone’s first pick as a couple but once we saw these two together, we knew that there was a spark between them.

#11 Brennan Catches the Bouquet at Booth’s Mother’s Wedding in “The Party in the Pants”

Booth and Brennan’s relationship has moved forward in a lot of ways, except for one. When the two go to Booth’s mother’s wedding, it’s inevitable that the subject of marriage would come up. The final scenes of the episode were filmed without dialogue but we were still treated to the two sharing a moment that focused on matrimony when Brennan caught the wedding bouquet.    Brennan Catches the Bouquet at Booth's Mother's Wedding in "The Party in the Pants"

#10 Booth and Brennan Visit a Jewelry Store in “The Blood from the Stones”

Booth and Brennan have a baby together and live together in a house that they built together. But when they visit a jewelry store as part of a case, things get very awkward as Brennan tries to explain to a stranger what she and Booth’s agreement is about proposals. Is it possible that the conversation cause Brennan to rethink her ideas about marriage? We can only hope.    Booth and Brennan Visit a Jewelry Store in "The Blood from the Stones"

#9 Hodgins Enjoys Angela’s Roller Derby Uniform in “The Doll in the Derby”

The team gets a case that involves the death of a roller derby skater and Angela goes undercover on the team to help them catch the killer. Before she tries out for the team, Angela tries on her derby gear and makes her husband a very happy man. It was sweet to see, after being together for so long, that these two still have the hots for each other.

#8 Booth and Brennan Dance in “The Diamond in the Rough”

Booth’s mom may have taught him how to dance and Brennan may not have been a very good dancer, but we still enjoyed it when the two hit the dance floor in this episode. Brennan proved that you don’t need natural talent when you’re dancing in the arms of the man you love and we found their final dance incredibly sweet.

#7 Brennan Jumps in to Hug Booth After His Video to Christine in “The Twist in the Plot”

A case makes some people on the team think about the future and what they might need to do for their families in case of their demise. Booth and Brennan have very different ideas of what that means and the two bicker over it as the episode continues. In the end, Booth decides that one thing he should do is leave a message for his daughter and makes her a video that left all of us in tears. Brennan must have shared the sentiment and her flying-tackle-hug when he finished was one of the sweetest moments of the season.

#6 Angela and Hodgins Figure Out How to Live Without His Fortune in “The Corpse in the Canopy”

Pelant returns and this time sets his sights on Angela and Hodgins, leaving a body in their bed. Trying to get revenge for nearly killing him, Pelant devises a way for Hodgins to have to make a life-changing decision. Hodgins of course chooses the lives of innocent people and in the process loses his fortune. Angela is by his side the whole time though and in the end, the couple realizes that all they need is each other and their son.

#5 “Loving you is the easiest thing in my life right now.” — from “The Survivor in the Soap”

By the time “The Survivor in the Soup” episode came around, Cam and Arastoo’s relationship was no longer a secret and the two of them were able to share their romance pretty much out in the open. Arastoo had no trouble telling Cam exactly how he felt about her and when he uttered: “Loving you is the easiest thing in my life right now,” we thought we would melt to the floor right then and there.

#4 “For some reason I feel like it’s you who keeps calling me back here.” — from “The Shot in the Dark”

Brennan is shot in her lab and as she struggles to cling to life, she finds herself in another reality. There, she gets the chance to speak to her mother, but back home Booth is by her bedside waiting for her to wake. As Brennan wanders back and forth from world to world, she realizes that it’s Booth that keeps calling her back to the real one with him and her daughter.

#3 Cam Stays By Arastoo’s Aide and Does Whatever it Takes to Keep Him Alive in “The Pathos in the Pathogens”

Cam and Arastoo’s love was tested when Arastoo became infected by a deadly virus. Arastoo proved how brave he was as he insisted that he stay in the lab so they could study him and look for a cure. Cam proved how much she loved Arastoo as she stayed by his side and did everything she could to save him, including begging for his life if necessary.

#2 Booth and Brennan Reunite in “The Future in the Past”

Thanks to Pelant, Brennan had to go on the run at the end of season 7 and when we started this season, the two of them hadn’t seen each other in months. Luckily we didn’t have to wait too long before Booth and Brennan were reunited as a family in a moment that became one of our favorites.

#1 Brennan Asks Booth to Marry Her in “The Secret in the Siege”

Though the episode may not have ended with the perfect fairy tale ending, for a brief moment in the season 8 finale, everything was wonderful. Brennan asks Booth to meet her in a beautiful setting and, armed with beef jerky, asks Booth to marry her. It was the moment the entire fandom had been waiting for and it did not disappoint.
