American actress Sarah Jane Morris was born on April 12, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. Born to an airline pilot father and a social worker mother, she studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After college, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career, and eventually made her debut as a bit player in the film Coyote Ugly. She spent most of her time on television, however, appearing as a guest on Boston Public, Dark Angel, Undeclared and Ed.
Morris got her first regular television role through the drama series Felicity, where she took on the recurring role of Zoe Webb for eight episodes in 2001. Five years later, she took another recurring role, this time in the short-lived drama Windfall. Her most notable television project so far is the drama series Brothers & Sisters, where she played one of the major characters from its premiere in 2006. She played the role of Julia Walker, the wife of Tommy Walker (Balthazar Getty), who sinks into depression after their attempts to have a child led to the death of one of their newborn twins.
