Biography

American television actress Maria Lark was born on June 20, 1997 in Siberia, Russia. She was adopted by an American single mother, who supported her with her pursuit of an acting career. Her passion began one day when her mother got a call from a manager asking to meet her daughter. Despite initial hesitation, her mother took her to meet the man who wanted to sign Lark as an actress. She soon got a number of commercial auditions and landed her role on Medium. On getting involved with the show, she admitted that it came as a surprise. She and her mother received a call, telling them to go to the set. “The next thing we knew we were on a plane to California to do the pilot not knowing whether the show would be picked up or not,” she said.

Her first commercial appearance is on the Norah Jones video “Sunrise,” and she became a frequent guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Lark is a great lover of animals, and she made her mother promise that she will be given a dog by the time she is ten. She has attended a public school in Los Angeles and has been raised by her mother in Redondo Beach, California.

Maria Lark is best known for portraying Bridgette DuBois, the middle daughter of Allison and Joe Dubois on NBC’s hit drama series Medium. Her character has inherited their mother’s psychic abilities, just like her sisters. The drama stars Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber as the parents of Lark’s character. The cast also includes Miguel Sandoval, Sofia Vassilieva, David Cubitt, Tina DiJoseph,, and Madison and Miranda Carabello. On September 3, 2006, Maria Lark made audiences notice when she became the youngest person to co-host ABC’s The View. Lark is also known for making an appearance at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
