BIOGRAPHY

Julie Marie Berman, who was born on November 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California, started acting at the tender age of six. She appeared in numerous commercials before her breakout appearance on the highly watched 7th Heaven , where she portrayed Shelby Connor. While with 7th Heaven , she also appeared on Once and Again where she played Julie. 2005 saw her joining the cast of General Hospital as Lulu Spencer, the troubled daughter of supercouple Luke and Laura. Two years later, she earned a daytime Emmy nomination for the role. Her other television credits include ER , Boston Public, Threshold, and General Hospital: Night Shift.

Lesley Lu “Lulu” Spencer is played by Julie Marie Berman in the soap opera General Hospital. Lulu is the daughter of Luke and Laura Spencer, whose marriage was destroyed because of her health condition. After she was diagnosed with aplastic anemia, her mother revealed that she had a son, Nikolas, with another man. Nikolas was able to help save Lulu’s life with a bone marrow transplant, however, Luke was crushed at the fact that his wife had a child with someone else. Lulu was raised by her mother after the divorce and later lived with her father and his new wife, Tracy Quartermaine. She was a rebellious teenager and felt that she needed much of her parents’ attention, thus she grew closer to her brothers instead.
