Biography

Actress Sofia Milos was born on September 27, 1965 in Zurich, Switzerland. Her father was Italian and her mother was Greek, which paved the way for her knowledge of numerous languages. She speaks English, Italian, French, German, Greek and Spanish.

Sofia Milos found her calling in the performing arts though. As a teenager she was a contestant at numerous beauty pageants, winning prizes on the provincial, regional and national level. Since then she studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and developed her skills under the tutelage of Milton Katselas.

On the small screen, Sofia Milos gained fame for portraing Detective Yelina Salas on the hit series CSI: Miami. She also portrayed Special Agent Bianca LeGarda on the show The Border, as well as Victoria Marston on Desire. Other television appearances of hers include those in Caroline in the City, Mad About You, The Secret Lives of Men, Friends and ER.

In 2001, she was cast on the film Double Bang, starring William Baldwin. She has also been seen on several movies, such as The Ladies Man in 2000 and her first acting gig, Out of Control in 1992.
