Growing up in North Jersey, Sofia Black-D'Elia started acting at the young age of 5. She signed up for dancing classes at Broadway Bound and developed her love and skill for the threatre arts. Her passion for acting grew, leading her to audition for film and TV roles. When she was 17, she was cast in her first major gig on the soap opera All My Children as the recurring character Bailey. In 2010, she booked the role of Tea on the MTV adaptation of the hit British teen drama Skins. She played an openly gay teenager, who's enigmatic but confident, as well as unpredictable. The following year, she played Sage Spence on the CW series Gossip Girl. At present, she is part of the cast of The Messengers.
