Biography

Scott Clifton Snyder was born on October 31, 1984 in Los Angeles, California and was raised in San Fernando Valley where he first discovered his passion for acting when his mother threw a copy of Shakespeare at him and told him to read it. Coincidentally, one of his mother’s friends was an acting coach, who later volunteered to tutor him during weekends for a year. By the time he was sixteen, he auditioned for General Hospital but was first rejected. A few months later, he was called back and cast for Dillon Quartermaine. His other television credits include Roswell and Judging Amy.

Dillon Quartermaine is played by Scott Clifton in the soap opera, General Hospital. Dillon is the son of Paul Hornsby, Sr. and Tracy Quartermaine and was born prematurely. When he was younger, his mother took him Europe to escape a prosecution for a hit and run accident and to keep Paul from getting custody on Dillon in the wake of her divorce. Dillon grew up to become a film addict who aspired to become a filmmaker. He went back to Port Charles, New York with his mother to live with his grandparents and half-brother, Ned Ashton. He had been involved with girls such as Georgie Jones and Lulu Spencer.
