Sasha Roiz is an Israeli-Canadian actor who is best known for playing the role of Sam Adama in the science fiction series "Caprica".
Sasha Roiz was born on October 21, 1973 in Israel to Russian parents. The whole family moved to Montreal in 1980 when Sasha was just seven. He studied history before be joined a theater school in Montreal, later graduating from the Guildford School of Acting in the UK.
Roiz’ screen credits include "CSI: Miami", "NCIS", "The Mentalist", "Lie to Me", and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles". In 2008, he was cast for the regular role of Sam Adarna on the Battlestar Galactica prequel "Caprica" on the SyFy network. He currently stars in the NBC series
