American actor Rick Hoffman was born on June 12, 1970 in New York City. He was educated at The Wheatley School, and later got his degree at the University of Arizona. He then launched his acting career in 1997, where he was cast as a guard in the film Conspiracy Theory. He followed it up with small roles, and later got his break with the series The $treet. He since appeared on shows like Philly, The Bernie Mac Show, and Samantha Who? In 2003, he played roles in Better Off Ted, Numb3rs and The Mentalist, before he was cast as Louis Litt on A Legal Mind, later renamed as Suits.
On the big screen, Rick Hoffman garnered attention with ihs work in The Day After Tomorrow and Cellular. He was also on Hostel, The Condemned, and Blood Work, which landed him on Variety's list of "10 Actors to Watch."
