Natalie Mejia was born on May 7, 1988 in the city of West Covina, California. She later moved to Diamond Bar and attended Diamond Ranch High School, which she graduated from in 2006. Natalie was also home schooled, accumulating enough credits for her degree by the age of 16.
Natalie is an accomplished dancer. She studied since the age of nine at Millennium Dance Complex, which is a professional dance center catering to the artistic community of the greater Los Angeles area. She was instructed by such big names as Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, and Kennis Marquis, and studied everything from Hip Hop to Jazz to Lyrical.
In 2008, Natalie decided to try out for Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Her goal was to become just as successful as her musical idols, Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson. Natalie immediately stood out from the pack thanks to her great dance skills and natural sex appeal.
Though Natalie did well in the competition, she did have her share of problems. In the sixth episode of the series, she clashed with vocal coach Kenn Hicks over a vocal arrangement. Kenn found her behavior to be extremely unprofessional, but Natalie later owned up to her mistake and apologized.
In the season finale, Natalie was chosen as one of the four members of Girlicious. Despite some level of success, she left the group in 2011.
