Biography

London-born Louise Lombard is an actress who displayed her passion for drama at an early age. She took acting lessons when she was eight years old, but pursued her education at Trinity Catholic High School in Woodford Green. She then studied English Literature at Cambridge University before going to London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design for courses on print and photography.

As for her acting career, Louise Lombard became known during the 1990s for her role of Evangeline Eliott in the drama The House of Eliott. She followed this up with appearances on shows like Chancer and Body Guards, as well as the series Metropolis. On film, she was spotted on After the Rain and My Kingdom. But she gained more fame upon starring in Tale of the Mummy in 1998, which became a cult classic.

After a portrayal on the movie Esther, Lombard was cast in the film Hidalgo. She rose to fame for being part of the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, especially since being promoted to series regular in 2006. The actress followed up this project by appearing on the pilot episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles. Since then, she was cast on two episodes of Stargate Universe and the series Miami Medical.
