Born on November 20, 2001, Jackson Timothy Brundage is a native of California, USA. He attended the Rising Sun Karate Academy, and in addition to acting, he enjoys soccer, martial arts, swimming, baseball, and basketball.
Jackson Brundage made his way into the acting industry at the age of five. He landed a guest spot on the TV series Las Vegas, playing Danny, the son of a single mother and a dancer working at the casino. After a couple of months, Brundage managed to be cast in the independent film Lime Salted Love. He played the character Charlie, and it gave him the chance to work with Danielle Agnello and David O’Donnell on the minimalist movie about abandonment, guilt, abuse and psychic pain. The film had a surreal point of view, and was set in the enclaves of Los Angeles. At the age of six, Jackson Brundage was given a recurring role on the hit CW series One Tree Hill. Throughout the show’s fifth season, Brundage played the character James Lucas Scott, son of Nathan and Haley. His parents are played by actors James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Galeotti. Brundage let his acting prowess shine through as he went from comedy to drama during the series. Most of his scenes became the highlight of the season, especially when his character was kidnapped by his former nanny and rescued by his grandfather. Jackson Brundage has also been slated to do voicework, providing words for the character Pablo in Einstein Pals. Some of Brundage’s other ventures involve cycling and playing golf, as well as football with the production assistant of One Tree Hill. Jackson was also famous for his habit of collecting money from One Tree Hill cast or crew members who swore on the set. He gets a quarter to about $20 every time anyone uttered a curse word around him.
