Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald is portrayed by Eva Tamargo in the soap opera, Passions. The matriarch of the Lopez-Fitzgerald family was born in Mexico and moved to Harmony in her twenties after marrying her husband Martin Fitzgerald at the age of 18. Pilar then became a handmaid of the Winthrops and was assigned to personally take care of Ivy when she was a small child. When Ivy grew up and married Julian Crane, Pilar moved into the Crane household. Martin left her shortly after her youngest child, Paloma, was born. She sent Paloma to her sister Maria in Mexico and was left with four other children below ten. The Lopez-Fitzgerald was soon kicked out of their home on Crane grounds but Pilar refused to leave Ivy, whom she has served for so many years.
