Darby Stanchfield became a TV actress in 2000 but earned fame six years later as she was cast as April Green on the TV series Jericho. She then landed a 10-episode stint on General Hospital, playing Amelia Joffe, before joining the cast of Mad Men as Helen Bishop. Simultaneously, she landed roles on NCIS, CSI: NY, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Castle, and Burn Notice.
A graduate of University of Puget Sound with a degree in communications, Stanchfield also appeared in movies like The Guest Room, The Square Root of 2, Waitress and The Sacrifice.
At present, Stanchfield stars on the ABC series Scandal.
