Born on March 9, 1986 in Tampa, Florida, Brittany Snow is a television and film actress known for her roles in films like The Pacifier, John Tucker Must Die, Hairspray, and Prom Night. The daughter of a publishing professional and an insurance agent, Snow grew up in Tampa Bay. She is good friends with fellow young actors Sophia Bush, Amanda Bynes, Zac Efron, and Bethany Joy Galeotti. She attended Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, then Ben Hill, then eventually graduated from Gaither High School in 2004.
Brittany Snow entered the modeling world at the age of three and a half for a print ad for Burdines. Her first venture to the small screen was a role as a troubled teen on the soap opera Guiding Light. She played this role from 1998 to 2001 while she was 12. She also played a very popular role on NBC’s American Dreams, then on the third season of Nip/Tuck as a neo-Nazi high school student. She got her movie break in 2005 with The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. She appeared in John Tucker Must Die and lent her voice to Namine in a video game called Kingdom Hearts II. In the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Hairspray, she played the role of the bratty Corny Collins Show queen Amber Von Tussle. As her part required singing, she was able to show off her musical abilities. In fact, she had a solo entitled “The New Girl in Town. Finally, in 2008, she played the lead in the movie Prom Night.
In 2010, she was cast as Jenna Backstrom on the NBC legal series Harry's Law.
