Latin American actress Arlene Tur graduated from Florida International University. The Miami native and one-time professional beach volleyball player trained as an actress under Howard Fine and Ivana Chubbuck. She made her acting debut in 2003, starring in the Spanish-language teen drama Los Teens, where she played the diva among a group of teens. She earned the attention of network executives for her performance as paralegal worker Nadalina in the pilot Harry Green and Eugene, which led to roles in another pilot, Haskett’s Chance, and a guest role in Grey’s Anatomy.
Tur’s first regular television role was in the ensemble drama Crash. An adaptation of the 2004 Oscar-winning film, she played the role of Bebe Arcel, a no-nonsense, ambitious LAPD officer who realizes that she is falling prey to other people’s manipulation. Apart from this, she has appeared in the independent action release Final Engagement, and has hosted programs for the Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel, Univision, and Wild on E! on E! Entertainment Television. She has appeared in numerous television commercials and has modeled intensively.
