Darren Brass Biography:
Darren Brass has been in the body art business for 13 years. A friend introduced him to the world of tattoos and Darren has since worked hard to perfect his own skills. He moved from Waterbury, Connecticut to Miami in the hopes of furthering his career as a tattoo artist. Because Brass suffers from diabetes, he must always be alert when it comes to his health. The disease has also led Brass to believe in living life to the fullest. Standing at only 5 feet and four inches hasn’t stopped Brass from decorating his entire body with bright and artistic tattoos. He is married and has a small dog that he treats as if it were his first child.
Working for the tattoo-shop-turned-reality-series Miami Ink has given Brass a great opportunity to showcase his talent for body art. It has also given him the chance to work with one of his role models in the business,
Chris Garver . Brass is actually very loveable and charming, despite his tough exterior. His presence eases the anxiety and nervousness that some first-timers feel when they are about to receive their tattoos. He is often made fun of by the other tattoo artists, especially by
Ami , because of his nice attitude.
